SunCheon Bay Reeds Festival 2019

Suncheon Bay Reeds festival is held every autumn with over 37 acres of reeds. Besides the reeds, there are over 140 species of birds of which 110 birds are protected. The beautiful reeds have spread vastly across the S shaped foreshore. The trip down south to Jeolla Namdo Province will give you an awe-inspiriting view of the reeds, waving and standing proudly in front of the sea. Also, there will be plenty to do for all ages at the festival. For instance, kite making, reed explorations, boat journey along the bay, reed crafts, rice cake pounding, photo exhibitions, and much more. Furthermore, we also recommend visiting Daedae-dong village early in the morning. The morning fog on the bay is perfect to take pictures of the reeds. It’ll be picturesque!
