Seoul Light DDP 2022

The exterior of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is designed to look like a spaceship landing in the city. This year’s event, <Rendez-vous, a meeting with DDP Universe>, is based on the theme of space, and the 2022 Seoulite DDP expresses the journey of imagining ‘the life of the universe.’

Rendez-vous (Dec 17 – 21)

The audience becomes a spacecraft pilot and begins a journey into space, expressing the feeling of traveling through unknown planets, black holes, and nebulae through color and light. AI expressed the image of the universe.

Christmas Event (Dec 22 – 25)

From 12.22 to 12.25, a special video commemorating Christmas will be displayed on the outer wall of DDP. Celebrate this Christmas with your loved ones through a delightful and warm Christmas video.

New Year Countdown Event

The New Year’s countdown event title for DDP Seoul Light 2022 is “<“HELLO 2023, Heart-Beat New Year.” Welcome the hopeful new year with a beating heart.
