100th Year National Sports Festival

The 100th National Sports festival in Korea marks the biggest sports festival held in Korea. The first game started back in 1920 in Seoul. Even during times of hardship, the Sports festival continued. To honor and connect the past and future, the festival will once again be located in Seoul. An Olympic torch will be handed to 1,170 torchbearers across 17 cities and provinces and running a total of 2,019 km. Seoul city wants to focus on connecting the past and the future, create an attractive festival for the locals and visitors, hospitality to show Korea’s heart, online and offline promotions, and lastly to secure and remodel stadiums. There will be 40 sports on display as well. You can check your favorite teams’ medal ranking here.
